1. One of the dangers of working from home is that you may have the tendency to work too many hours. Take a good fifteen minute break every two hours and you will find that these mental health breaks will help you to be more productive with your work.

2. Sitting at your desk all day long can be backbreaking. Every half hour to an hour make sure you stand up and do some stretching exercises. Just getting the blood flowing back into your extremities can relieve a lot of your stress and can help to clear your mind.

3. Instead of eating your lunch at your desk, pack up a picnic lunch and get a change of scenery. Sometimes, all it takes to renew your energy is a change of pace. Eating your lunch at your desk is only going to add to your stress level.

4. When you have deadlines and can’t leave your desk, all you need to do is take five minutes and do some deep breathing exercises. This will clear your mind and will help you to stay on task while relieving some of the mental stress you may be feeling.

5. If the day seems to be difficult and you don’t know how much work you are going to get accomplished, turn up the radio and dance. Some people will think that it sounds crazy, but working from home requires you to get motivated and the right music will inspire anyone.
